Icefire Warhymn League (IWL) is a week-long solo tournament staged in an arena divided between ice and fire. The supplied description credits the Icebreakers with bringing it to the Tundra. Eligible Chiefs advance from qualification into knockout rounds and a season final. These battles do not kill or injure troops from the player’s actual army.
This guide reflects the supplied event material. Timing, values, and availability may differ in another occurrence, so verify them on the current in-game event screens.

Weekly schedule and progression
A 24-hour Preview Phase runs on Sunday. The four active phases then occupy Monday through Saturday. All stated match times are UTC; the event’s schedule tab provides a local-time conversion.
The supplied text does not reproduce any extra details visible only in the weekly schedule image. The times below are those explicitly stated in the text; consult the current in-game schedule for other timing information.
| Day | Phase | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Sunday | Preview | 24-hour advance view of the event |
| Monday–Tuesday | Sign-Up | Enter and configure a three-Formation squad |
| Wednesday | Qualifier | Up to 10 point-scoring rounds; Top 64 in each Zone advance |
| Thursday | Elimination | Best-of-3 rounds reduce each Zone’s field from 64 to 8 |
| Friday–Saturday | Pinnacle | The Top 8 play three final best-of-3 rounds |

Sign-Up: Monday and Tuesday
- Open Icefire Warhymn League and select Sign Up. A Furnace at Level 30 or higher is required.
- Configure all three Formations. Each Formation contains one hero and troops.
- Once setup is complete, troops are automatically filled from the highest-level troops currently available to train.
- Review the heroes, troop assignments, and deployment order before Wednesday.
Automatic troop filling does not configure the lineup by itself. Entering battle without organizing any lineup results in an automatic defeat at the start of the match.
Qualifier: Wednesday
Chiefs play as many as 10 rounds, with automatic opponent matching at each scheduled slot. The 10 UTC slots span 12:00 through 21:00. Three defeats cause immediate elimination, so participation may end before the phase timer expires.
Scoring: After each match, the game considers the player’s remaining Battle Power and the opponent’s lost Battle Power, then applies scoring coefficients. A victory adds bonus points, but a defeat can still earn points. The supplied rules do not disclose the numerical coefficients, so an exact formula is unavailable.
At the end of the phase, the remaining Chiefs are ordered from highest to lowest score. If multiple Chiefs have the same score, the one who reached that score first ranks ahead. The Top 64 in each Zone progress to Elimination.
The Rankings screen identifies the player’s Zone, permits switching between Zones, and lists the States participating in each Zone. Battle Reports contain results, replays, and further match details.
Elimination: Thursday
Each Zone’s Top 64 is divided into groups for a best-of-3 bracket. A Chief must win two of the three matches in a round to continue.
| Round | UTC time | Progression |
|---|---|---|
| Round 1 | Thursday 10:00 | Top 64 → Top 32 |
| Round 2 | Thursday 16:00 | Top 32 → Top 16 |
| Round 3 | Thursday 22:00 | Top 16 → Top 8 |
Pinnacle: Friday and Saturday
The final eight Chiefs retain the best-of-3 format through the championship match.
| Round | Stage | UTC time |
|---|---|---|
| Round 1 | Top 8 | Friday 11:00 |
| Round 2 | Top 4 | Friday 23:00 |
| Round 3 | Champion Final | Saturday 11:00 |
The Saturday winner becomes Season Champion and receives the event’s highest reward tier. Pinnacle lineups become uneditable one minute before each round starts.
Squad setup, deployment order, and locks
- Every squad has three Formations, each combining a hero with troops.
- Edit Squad on the event page is used to customize them when lineup editing is available.
- Formations deploy in the selected order. They can be dragged into a different order while editing is permitted.
- The Battle Power of all three Formations is combined into the squad’s total strength.
- Automatic filling becomes available only after initial lineup configuration and uses the strongest currently trainable troop tier.
The Qualifier lineup is locked for the entire phase, preventing changes to the Formations. Eligible increases to the three teams’ Total Power and newly unlocked Troop Skills can nevertheless be reflected during this lock. Check the displayed lock message before attempting to rearrange the squad. Pinnacle uses a separate one-minute lock before each round.

Observed per-match mail reward
The supplied material records the following reward from a Qualifier defeat:
- 50 Warhymn Testaments

A loss can therefore produce a mail reward, but this observed example is not a complete reward table for every outcome or event phase.

These chests are separate from match-result mail. Check the current reward track for every available claim.

Icefire Way decoration
Icefire Way is a Mythic 3×3 island decoration with a Type Limit of one. At Level 1, it supplies 1,000 Prosperity and +1% Troops’ Defense. The displayed progression adds 1,000 Prosperity and one percentage point of defense per level, reaching 10,000 Prosperity and +10% Troops’ Defense at Level 10. Awarded copies enter the Island Storehouse.
Frostflame Knight City Skin
The ranking tiers award Frostflame Knight for 30, 14, or 7 days. The supplied item details state that the 30-day version activates a +2.0% Troops’ Attack stat bonus upon acquisition. The decoration and skin details describe those items; they do not establish that their bonuses apply inside IWL battles.
State rewards
The supplied rules say Chiefs can receive the reward tier associated with a Top 16 competitor from their State when all of these requirements are met:
- They belong to the same State as the ranked competitor.
- They logged in during the event.
- Their Furnace is Level 20 or higher.
If a Chief reaches the Top 16 after transferring States, the reward is assigned to the State that Chief belonged to before the transfer. State rewards arrive by mail.

League Shop exchanges
Warhymn Testaments can be spent in the League Shop. The currency does not expire and may be saved for a later occurrence. The in-game English screen names its final offer column Limit.

| Item per exchange | Cost in Testaments | Purchase limit shown |
|---|---|---|
| 1 Icefire Way Lv. 1 | 8,000 | 1 |
| 1 Mythic General Hero Shard | 100 | 20 |
| 10 Fire Crystals | 50 | 15 |
| 5 × 1-hour speedups | 80 | 30 |
The shop also displays gear materials, chests, and other offers not detailed in the supplied text. Open an item in the current event to confirm its exact name, contents, price, limit, and availability before exchanging currency.
Final preparation checklist
- Configure all three Formations before Wednesday; troop availability and automatic filling do not replace lineup setup.
- Prepare for the full-phase Qualifier lock and the one-minute Pinnacle lock.
- Remember that wins grant bonus points and unlock chests, while Qualifier ranking also uses power-based scoring.
- Check both delivery routes: match rewards come by mail, while win-count chests use a separate track.
- Distinguish UTC event times from mail timestamps that may be displayed in a local time zone.
- Do not confuse a reward mail’s expiration date with the Testaments themselves, which carry over.
- Confirm current rewards and shop terms on the in-game screens before making decisions.
